At 12.5oz, the CXT-3 is an ounce lighter than the CXT-2, achieved through a new lightweight breathable mesh upper with no-sew overlays that reduce weight without compromising structure. A new external TPU heel counter — extending into a full side rail — delivers the rearfoot lockdown and stability that heavy lifting demands. SURGENRG™ foam in the midsole converts applied force into elastic rebound, so every rep returns energy back to the athlete. TYRTAC™ Herringbone Rubber Outsole

TPU Stability Wrap

Lateral support and structural durability built into the midfoot. Adds reinforcement for multi-directional movement and the demands of rope climbs and handstand push-ups without adding weight.

A true-to-size athletic training fit. The anatomical toe box is designed for natural splay — wider than a standard trainer to accommodate the foot's natural spread under load.

True to size for most athletes. If you have a wider foot or a bunion, a half size up is recommended for additional comfort.

    Would probably buy again

    I've always worn Nanos. Love the wide toe box of the Nanos. The CXT-3s have a slightly wider toe box than Nanos and I absolutely love that about them. They're also very light. Perfect for any workout that doesn't involve running. There is no cushioning. It's like running flat footed...even running 200s in a workout felt bad. Perfect for lifting, though. I would probably buy again because I just love the look of them.

    Comfort out of the box

    Recently got my first pair of TYR and couldn’t be happier. I was impressed how comfortable these are, and optimal support while my workout routine. The day a first wore them I was able to do my first rope climbing, and they were perfect for the task 👍🏻

    Beautiful Color Trainers

    The color is gorgeous. I do prefer the barefoot ones though. The toe box in there is not as wide as the DropZero.
