All around great training shoe

"These are all around great shoes for training. The comfort is very good and durability so far have held up great. The shoes resembling the Jordan 5 black metallic is a great touch as well for look."

Love the shoe.

"It's a great shoe and looks nicer in person. I got a size larger than my regular shoes and I think that was the right decision. I am able to run for my WOD in these shoes but would not run a 5k in them unless I was a better athlete. A mile or two is fine. Great for lifting."

CX-3 Trainers

"Been using my Cx-3 trainers for a month now in my Crossfit workouts and love the feel. Just as good as the Cx-2 but lighter, better for short runs and great stability in lifts and general movement workouts."

— Z H. (5/5)

Solid shoe

"Ive now done ~5 workouts in them, including one rope climb, and they are an excellent shoe. Are they better than my CXT-2? Yes. Are they better than my CXT-2 carbon elite? No. They look better than both. In fact, the black w red letters look like some old jordan’s. They provide excellent support and yet are very light (unlike those jordans). Tyr has edged out nanos as my favorite shoe. I have flat feet and these fit well. Highly recommend."

Awesome crossfit shoes

"Love that toe box is wide. So many other CrossFit shoes are narrow. Awesome support and very stylish"

Tom Roberts CXT-3 Trainer

"Dig them. Sole has much more stability. Heel cup provides more support almost like my TYR Lifters so I don’t need to change shoes for maintenance type lifting ie; lighter weight more reps. Larger toe box is excellent too. Not to mention ton this is the first pair of trainers I’ve purchase in @ 5 years (upgrade from Reebok Nano series ). TYR - you have a loyal new customer. Thank you"

— Tom R. (5/5)

Really solid

"I've been working out with them for a few weeks now and these shoes have been very solid for both lifts and metcons. I came from traditionally wearing Reebok Nano's and with these, I feel like the comfort level is way better and the toe box is not as narrow which make lifting feel more grounded. For sizing, I do wish they made it a little more streamlined to determine, but I did measure my foot from heel to the top of my big toe and then paired it with their measurements in the sizing guide. This worked out and the size I ordered was true-to-size. Lastly, they look great!"

Not worth the money!

"This shoe might be one of the worst shoes I have had on my feet in some time. The sole of this shoe is so stiff that it barely gives when you walk. When I walk into a room with hardwood floors, it's like I am tap dancing - makes so much noise. Absolutely no give to this shoe. The collar comes up so high that it rubs both sides of the ankle. The shoe laces will not stay tied and the forefront of the shoe has no padding. If you are wanting a wider toe-box, you need to try another shoe. This shoe is not it. Just an overall terrible design. The one, and I mean the one thing I do like about the shoe is that it does look nice. If TYR could somehow keep the aesethetics of the shoe and make it more comfortable, give it some bendability, and use velcro on the laces (lol), it might be worth it. But, at this price point, this should be one of the best all-around shoes. It's not! Plain and simple. Way better shoes out there. Would recommend the Nano's or Metcon's over this shoe any day of the week. Don't waste your money."

Men's CXT-3 Trainers - Black Crystal

"The shoes for me feel significantly lighter and wider fight than my CXT2s- maybe its because of the new softer upper there is less pressure in to toes. Perfomance : I need more time in the shoes but I did the 2026 Crossfit open and quarterfinals with these shoes and they went through almost all the types of movements and they did good. The shoe is a little stiff at the beginning but it loosened up more and more after each session. Durability is a little concerning specially on one specific spot where the upper meets the sole when bending I can already see the glue come off and deattach after less than 4 training sessions, not sure how that is going to hold on. The CXT2s were built really well and to handle so much from workouts to daily wear and work. Grip is superb, unbeatable. Comfort : In my opinion I would specifically use them as my training shoe , its not a shoe to wear for lifestyle and work all day. It made for training and thats it. Running: I didn’t expect it to be great , it does okay and does the job for 200-800m workouts. Just suck it up and run."
