Great shoes

"I had previously owned Adidas lifting shoes. . but they seemed very tight. I bought some Nike romeleos, but they were also a little tight on the front, so I was advised to buy tyrs. Very glad I did. Perfect for Squats"

Great purchase should have done it sooner!

"Great fit but if you are a larger foot go up a size. The toe box has plenty of room to spread and get the an ideal foot placement. Really holds the feet in position and makes for a strong base of support to squat with. really should have bought a pair sooner rather than always using converse."

Highly Recommend

"I have been using my pair for more than half a year at this point and I am more than happy about my purchase. I would definitely recommend these to anyone interested in getting a pair of weightlifting shoes. These have been my first ever pair of weightlifting shoes. Without them, I would normally feel squats and squat-like movements more in my glutes and hamstrings than in my quads, because I have longer femurs. Additionally, my core would tire out more. However, after I started using them, I could stay more upright during squats, my quads would get targeted more, and my core would tire out less easily. All in all, I can say they made a huge improvement for me. They are comfortable and wide enough for my feet. I used the size chart to determine my size and it was a pretty good match. They seem solid, the soles have enough grip, and I expect them to last me a good while - at least a few years if I take care of them. In conclusion, if you're looking to buy weightlifting shoes, these are as solid a choice as you can get."

The best lifting show I have had

"I'm very happy with the purchase. They have great stability and enough space for toes. I sized up 1, and it was perfect."

What an upgrade

"Amazing shoe. So much better than my old pair from another brand."

Customer service not good

"I like the shoe - it does what it says with a wider toe box. Customer service and returns appalling. Despite me emailing you the tracking number etc you failed to get it from NL customs and have ceased answering my emails. So I have bought two pairs with no return on the wrong sized pair. THEREFORE I WILL NOT BE BUYING TYR AGAIN OR RECOMMENDING TO FELLOW LIFTERS - THE SMALL VALUE ADDED OF THE WIDER TOE BOX (IT'S NOT THAT SPECIAL OR WIDE) IS OUTWEIGHED BY THE REST, NOT LEAST YOUR ATTITUDE TO CUSTOMERS."

Great!

"Lots of toes space, not excessively stiff, very grippy sole. Love them"
