Podium Performances at Beijing Olympic Games

Amaury Leveaux captured the Silver medal in the 50m Freestyle. His time of 21.45 garnered an Olympic Games’ podium finish. He earned 2 Silver medals, 2 European Records and an Olympic Games Record.

Matt Grevers secured Gold in the Men's 4 x 100m Medley Relay with teammates. He led off the prelims relay with the fastest prelims backstroke time of 53.59. With his successful debut on the Olympic stage, Matt garnered 2 Gold medals, a Silver and a World Record.

Member of the Russian Diving Federation, Julia Pakhalina won a Silver medal in the Women’s 3m Diving. Yulia’s grace and perfection in her dives earned a total score of 398.60. She narrowly followed the leader by a mere 16.75 points. In TYR, the Russian Diving Federation, won 2 Silver and a Bronze at the 2008 Olympic Games diving competitions.
