Introducing the TYR Men's CXT-3 Trainer. The next evolution of TYR's most trusted training platform — rebuilt lighter, stronger, and more responsive than its predecessor. At 12.5oz, the CXT-3 is an ounce lighter than the CXT-2, achieved through a new lightweight breathable mesh upper with no-sew overlays that reduce weight without compromising structure. A new external TPU heel counter — extending into a full side rail — delivers the rearfoot lockdown and stability that heavy lifting demands. SURGENRG™ foam in the midsole converts applied force into elastic rebound, so every rep returns energy back to the athlete. The TYRTAC™ herringbone rubber outsole grips every surface, every transition, every direction. Built for the athlete who lifts, conditions, and refuses to choose between the two.

"I really enjoy the overall fit of the cxt3. The toe box seems perfectly widened. However, the laces are a bit slick and have easily come loose, make sure to double knot. The heel/backing of the 3 seems a bit more rigid. I prefer the "poofy" feel of the cxt2 backing. Overall, the shoes fit great and perform even better."
"I am loving my trainer shoes! They are super comfortable and supportive for my strength training days and perfect when doing Bulgarian splits or using the peas let. Love them and they are not only functional, they are also stylish! I would love to see pink ones , but the pink only as the orange is to the tangerines, on certain parts of the shoes! 😍"
"After six months of trying out different shoes, I ordered these. I tried them at home. . . they felt ok. Then I took them to the gym. Wow, the stability I got from them when lifting. . . it was just what I was looking for. They have a wide toe area, perfect for me, as I have a bunion (Even though I ordered 1/2 size up). The only thing that bothered me was the back of the shoe, it was a bit stiff, but after 3 times, that was gone. They are definitely not suitable for running, but for that I have a different shoe. I love that I feel so stable, as if you hooked my feet to the floor. . ."
"These are an awesome shoe for both lifting and crossfit - really appreciating the extra support around the edges of my foot. I wish the toe box was a little wider but the are still very comfortable. Cute too."
"Durability is on point! My forst WOD was “Donny” I also worked “The Seven” WOD as well, very breathable, light weight, and solid 10/10! Looking forward to strength training with these beauties in the AM! The colorway is beautiful! MOST DEF getting another pair! Also, looking forward to trying the lifters!"
"Big change from CXT-2 - much wider, unfortunately. The toe box room is better, but too wide at the heel. Size is a bit bigger than old shoes, also. Back to trying a heel lift and lacing options to improve fit. Only worn a few times so hard to know durability."
"I ordered a men's size 8. 5, but the shoes felt noticeably larger than expected. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the original factory label indicated size 9. 5, and it had been covered with a size 8. 5 label."
"Narrower toe box than expected from TYR. I love their lifters!!! Been powerlifting in their shoes exclusively for 5 years. Was so excited to order these trainers, only to put them on my feet and realize that I might as well have bought Nike or Adidas from the sporting goods store down the street. Very generic narrow toe box. I want to love them but they aren’t comfortable. Toes are crammed against side of shoe."
"I’m new to wearing this brand of shoes! I actaully love them better than NoBulls. They are a lot more comfortable to train in and have a deceivingly wide toe box; which I really like. I’d say the toe box is a positive compare to the Nano 2’s wide toe box. But, without the clown shoe look. I’ve received many compliments. The color… my favorite. Will be buying my teenage a pair soon!!"
"I've been using the TYR CXT-3 for my workouts, and I'm extremely impressed. The shoe feels incredibly stable during strength training, especially for squats, deadlifts, and other heavy lifts. The wide toe box provides plenty of room without sacrificing support, and the overall fit is comfortable right out of the box with little to no break-in period."
